Venue
Tickets
- Please bring your order confirmation with you - at least your 5 char booking code.
- Check-In will be just after entering the building
- We do not provide tickets-for-cash at the venue. If you happen to really pay in cash please register days early and contact us so we can arrange something.
- If you cannot make it, please contact us BEFORE the conference for a refund.
Money
- The local currency is the Euro (€, EUR)
- All shops should accept credit cards, with VISA/Mastercard being almost universally accepted
- Not all restaurants and bars accept credit cards, so make sure you have some cash before ordering
- Three ATMs are close to the venue (~200 m)
- Currency exchanges can be found near/in the city center
- If you’re having trouble finding one using your preferred navigation app, try searching using the corresponding Croatian word - “mjenjačnica”
Power
- Croatia uses German-style “Schuko” plugs (type “F”)
- The electric energy system operates at 220V/50Hz. Make sure to check whether your devices support the higher-voltage electricty
- Most IT shops should have plug adapters, and the closest one is a couple of minutes away from the venue
Parking
- City parking lots can be found around the venue and will set you back 8€ per day
- Don’t be alarmed if you see a parking ticket on your windshield; this is the way the local authorities issue daily parking tickets
- A cheaper “Park&Ride” parking lot is located in the eastern part of the city. The parking ticket can be bought online or in the parking lot
Accessibility
- The main rooms and the toilets are located on the ground floor
- Some tutorial rooms are only reachable by stairs
- The walk from the tram station is short and completely flat
Health / Emergency
- In any emergency within the venue, inform/contact staff (those with the orange badges) or security. We’ve first-aid kits at the Check-In desk.
- The closest pharmacy is open on Saturday (NOT Sunday) until 13 PM.
Social Event
Ticket
You MUST bring your badge - if you’ve registered companions, the badge should show a number >1 next to the ‘SOC’ label. If something seems amiss please tell so at check-In at the venue already.
